Co-founders include Rick Terrien and Dave Walker. Rick and Dave have been awarded 14 U.S. and foreign patents focused on oil-water separations. They commercialized many of those inventions worldwide.
Their innovations and their tools have kept tens of millions of gallons of contaminating oil out of the environment and continue to make possible a globally significant reduction in atmospheric carbon emissions from manufacturing plants.
Their work was awarded the United States Small Business New Product of the Year by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). NSPE represents the highest engineering certification in the world.
Fast Company magazine honored their work with a 'Fast 50' - now called 'The World's 50 Most Innovative Companies'. They believe they are the smallest company ever awarded this honor.
